The "17 Under 17" Young India Challenge is a unique online contest designed to recognize and celebrate the brightest young minds and top talents under 17. Participants are invited to showcase their impressive talents, inventions, innovative business ideas, social impact, and digital content creations.

Students between ages 6 to 17 are invited to participate across the following themes / categories:

  • YNG Talent Star
  • YNG Inventor
  • YNG Change Maker
  • YNG Entrepreneur
  • YNG Influencer

The 17 Under 17 Young India Challenge is for anyone and everyone under the age of 17 who has any extraordinary talent to showcase, any innovation to share, any social impact execution being done, any environment related activity undertaken, wants to share a unique business idea or creates viral content.

To participate: Fill up the registration form, pay the entry fees, record and upload your video on your YouTube & Instagram, and submit your video links.

Your video must be under two minutes in length to qualify for the challenge.

Make sure to tag us in the description field when you upload your video.

For every thematic area, your video will be judged on a different parameter. Following are the judging criteria:

  • YNG Talent Star: Uniqueness, Skill, Creativity
  • YNG Inventor: Utility, Functionality, Purpose
  • YNG Change Maker: Impact, Innovation, Sustainability
  • YNG Entrepreneur: Innovation, Execution Strategy, Market Potential
  • YNG Influencer: Engagement, Content Quality, Influence

Our preferred languages are English and Hindi. As we are welcoming entries across India, we are open to talent and ideas no matter what your language proficiency is.

Please register and share your video entries before 15 Oct 2024.

Top 50 Entries under each theme will enter the Online Popular Vote Round in Oct 2024, based on which the final ‘17 Under 17’ listings will be announced.

The challenge is for individuals only. Every student will need to register separately.
